Aqcha Rugs
Well-known and oft repeated "elephant foot" design, a signature motif of these carpets. Primarily come in a red and black colour, with newer colour themes of green and blue available. The staple rug of Afghan families, passing the test of time in their timeless quality and appeal.

War Rugs
These traditional war rugs are unique pieces portraying the history of conflict in Afghanistan and the instruments of war. Traditional design show the Soviet-Afghan war, while newer designs show the Global War on Terror. Handwoven wool with bright colours and motifs. These can be laid on the floor or hanged on the wall as a tapestry.

Baluch Rugs
From the nomadic Baluchistan region. Often feature intricate geometric designs. The use of dark colours, such as reds, browns, blacks and greens is a characteristic feature. These rugs have a natural lustre (shine) and a very smooth pile texture. Some also have a relatively thicker pile which giving a soft and shaggy texture.

Bokhara Rugs
These rugs have a thicker pile than other rugs and are much softer. This also gives the colour an attractive gradient appearance. Often featuring detailed geometric designs. The traditional colour of a Bokhara rug is red, but others can also be found in rust, tan, orange, light and dark blue, green, aqua and gold.

Kazak Rugs
Bold geometric designs from the Caucasus and Azerbaijan. Including ‘Super Kazak’ rugs of higher quality and design. Often feature bold and geometric designs. The patterns are typically tribal and nomadic in nature. Common motifs include medallions, and stylized animals. The use of vibrant colours such as red, blue, ivory is a characteristic feature.

Khal Mohammadi Rugs
Classic Afghan rugs consisting of deep reds and black floral and geometric designs, similar colour theme and design to Aqcha rugs, but with a more detailed floral design. The fine wool gives these rugs a natural lustre (shine) and gives it a silky appearance. These rugs are also affordable and very high quality.

Khorjin Rugs
Inspired by tribal saddle bags, the striped and floral design runs from edge to edge with a dividing section of stripes. They often have very intricate and detailed floral motifs, without a traditional border area and new fringe design. These types of rugs have a unique design differing from other rugs.

Widespread throughout Central Asia and North Africa. Flat weave rugs with geometric designs and vivid colours. Reversible and resistant to wear.
