Old (1970) Handmade Afghan Bokhara Rug | 229 x 117 cm

This is an old authentic Bokhara rug, handmade in Afghanistan. There is fading of the pile throughout the rug, although all of the colour and design is retained still. The traditional color of a Bokhara rug is red, but others can also be found in rust, tan, orange, light and dark blue, green, aqua and gold.

Due to the handmade nature of these rugs, some edges may not be straight.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the colours and shades may vary slightly due to the specific angle and lighting when photos are taken. This means that the carpet you receive may look slightly different from the picture. Additionally, carpets naturally have a "light" side and a "dark" side, which is determined by the orientation of the wool pile. This is a characteristic of carpets and should be taken into consideration when choosing a carpet for your space.
