This is a brand new Mushwani rug, handmade in Afghanistan. They often feature bold and intricate geometric patterns. They are renowned for their vibrant and rich colour palettes. Reds, browns, golds, oranges, and purples are commonly used, creating visually striking patterns. These types of rugs combine flat-weave killim design with a hand-knot rug pile to create a unique contrast in texture and colour. This rug is specifically a fine (beljik) Mushwani which is of higher quality than other Mushwani rugs, and has a softer texture and more detailed design.

Due to the handmade nature of these rugs, some edges may not be straight.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the colours and shades may vary slightly due to the specific angle and lighting when photos are taken. This means that the carpet you receive may look slightly different from the picture. Additionally, carpets naturally have a "light" side and a "dark" side, which is determined by the orientation of the wool pile. This is a characteristic of carpets and should be taken into consideration when choosing a carpet for your space.
